Rachel Zane

By the summer of 2016, she had spent years building a working life in a profession where progress depended on obtaining roles and sustaining them.

Suits had given her a continuing part as Rachel Zane.

The legal drama supplied a regular professional setting, colleagues, and an audience that recognized her through the character.

The series was set in New York and filmed largely in Toronto, which had become central to her own life as well as to her work.

Okay.

But in 2010, she auditions for this part of Rachel Zane in Suits, playing, like, a young lawyer.

The script was witty.

It wasn't a hot girl role.

Objectively.

So she's Rachel Zane to me and Rachel Zane was kind of awesome.

So I realized that I'm being biased, right? I'm checking my bias at the door.

As you are known to do.
