But you can help us knock doors we have so many activities and events the next 28 days ah Arizona matters and I'd rather at the end of this election be able to say we're like Texas and Florida ah I don't want to be like California and I'm hoping that all the people that moved here from California understand what I'm saying because ah what's on at stake and what's on this ballot really really matters um and it it and understanding how important it is to know what's going to cost you money on your ballot ah we still have the propositions which I promise you we're going to start on ballots are being mailed out tomorrow you will have your ballot in your hand possibly tomorrow ah more likely Friday Saturday and so next Monday we're going to start and we're going to go through the ballot now there's all different versions of the ballot depending on where you live in Pima County so if you know someone that lives on the east side and you live on the northwest side you won't have the same ballot ah so it's important to understand what's going on ah all government is local you've heard that it it your ballot will will show you that um if you live out on the east side where I live ah Tank and I'm in the Tank of Verde School District we have an opportunity to ah agree ah for a short-term ah slight tax increase to modify the school from a junior high to a high school it's operating as a high school ah ultimately they could build a whole new high school I think that would be way more expensive but we we will talk to the people that um as we get down to that side of the ballot and as a result we're going to do very geographical ah and ah how do I want to say this just taking the ballots from all over the county we have seven legislative districts you've heard me say this before LD17 being the largest in Pima County ah it's part of it's also in Pinal County and people that listen to this show here here ah know that but majorly LD17 is Pima County you have Chris King running for state senate you have ah John Winchester and Rachel Keshel ah running for the house Rachel is the only incumbent in that group ah has done a great job and I think John Winchester will be a fabulous replacement for ah Kevin Volk ah but we shall see so um Brendan we're going to take a break and then when we come back I think there's a guest calling in if not um I'll we'll figure this out I want what I I before we go to break sorry I just want to add this how Robert the tax preparer got here is he ran into me at a luncheon that we were at and he was so upset about the fact that the governor caused so much chaos in the depart Arizona Department of Revenue think about it they've already processed these whatever it is two million three million returns and as a result of her malfeasance her incompetence her ego trip ah they're now going to have to reprocess them that that is just an abuse of power and it's an abuse of our tax dollars and it's an abuse of government and it's theft and you should never allow someone who is stealing your money to be in a position of responsibility and that goes all the way from the governor's office down to the supervisors down to the school board this is our money you work hard for that money don't give it to people and don't give them the authority to spend it any way that they see fit this is a time to be smart on this election we are protecting something beyond the Donald Trump presidency we are protecting what matters most which is our faith our families and our communities and I'm advocating no matter what party you are fight back against the incompetence the corruption and the malfeasance I'm Kathleen Winn this is Wynn Tucson on 1030 The Voice your trusted local news and talk we'll be back right after this stay with me Welcome back to Wynn Tucson.

You know, any of the people and I mean, Representative Fink, Keshel, Senator Fincham, Senator Mesnard, I mean, all four of those people, especially Representative Fink, who sponsored this, that it took a certain amount of determination and can only imagine, including right there toward the last few days when the House passed the version that was sent back from the Senate.
Tom AlongiGUEST
23:48
I can only guess at the amount of work after hours that Representative Fink put into this that we'll probably never hear about.
