Why was I motivated to create this award? Well, I think you've touched on, both of you, some of the reasons.

I have to say that I was actually born more out of frustration, if you want the truth, because when I was diagnosed with MS in 2009, and this is from a patient point of view, I naively assumed there would be a great focus in MS research on women's health issues, because after all, as we say, up to three quarters of people diagnosed with MS are women, and also around the age of 30.
