Like, what are the biggest mistakes that people are making that you feel like are, are easy to, to watch out for and fix?
17:05
Yeah.
17:06
I think there's two things coming to mind.
17:07
The first being under-fueling.
17:10
Um, I think it's become really common, whether people mean to or not, but to vastly underestimate what their needs are.
17:19
Um, especially training for something like HYROX at the level so many athletes are doing now.
17:23
Like, just to survive, [chuckles] like, your calories need to be at a certain level.
19:16
Uh, could you just kinda speak on that? I think that that's an interesting topic right now 'cause there's a lot of people that talk about how they're, you know, they cut weight, um, for, uh, for racing, and I think you had said that like, you know, there, that there are definitely some trade-offs there that should be, uh, you know, considered.

But what's the journey like being like for you from that first race to then the one in June?
6:55
Yeah, it's a great question.
6:56
My first race was in Atlanta last fall.
7:00
And that's when I did a 105.49. And it's kind of crazy looking back on it now because I actually wasn't even supposed to be in town that weekend.
7:08
Atlanta is only like two hours from Birmingham.
7:10
So there was a crew of people that were planning to go race Atlanta.
7:14
My mom was set to run the New York Marathon the same weekend though.
