Rava said, and so taught Rabbi Ishmael, Until twenty years, God sits and waits for a man.

When will he marry a woman? Once he has reached twenty and hasn't married, he says, may his bones swell.

It seems, though, that a major element of concern encouraging a man to marry by 20 was lest he otherwise have difficulty controlling his sexual urges, and perhaps secondarily that he was not yet actively attempting to procreate.

When a pasuk says, "If a beheima shall die, zu beheimah tameiah asher ayam, asher yihiye lachem la'achlah that which is fit to eat, zu beheimah tahorah.

This is a beheimah tahorah." So the pasuk concludes that if you touch the neveilah of either of them, you are tamei.

So says the Gemara, since the pasuk has taught us that the neveilah of a beheimah tahorah or of a beheimah tameiah, we know that the same thing is gonna apply to both the clean, uh, both the chayyah tahorah and chayyah tameiah.

So says the Gemara, "Chayyah tahorah and chayyah tameiah lamadnu.

Chayah b'chol behemah ub'hemah b'chol chayyah." And that's where we're gonna learn out one from the other.

So says the Gemara, Rabbi Yishmael goes further.

Says Rabbi Yishmael, "Behemah b'chol achayyah," excuse me, "b'chol behemah ub'hemah b'chol chayyah, chayyah tahorah b'chol beheimah tahorah, chayyah tameiah b'chol behemah tameiah." So each one is including the next.

But something that can become a primary tumah itself can get the tumah of food without one of the seven liquids.

That was, that's a principle of Rabbi Yishmael.

So now this is very, very r- relevant to what Rava just mentioned, this principle of keshe shemesh, keshe shemesh maaseh eat shemesh.

If you are telling me now, what, what, what are we gonna see in next few ersenora? We're gonna have all these cases of something that looks like food and ha- but has a high level of tumah and seems to be challenging in Rabbi Yishmael's principle, and then we're gonna say, "No, it's not a challenge because keshe shemesh maaseh eat shemesh." It wasn't food yet.

Mai nafka mina? Says the Gemara, "I don't understand, shchitah taveicha are the same thing.

They both mean the slaughter the animal." So why can't we make a classical gezeirah shavah? Says explains the Gemara, tan d'vei Yishmael, we learn b'shem Rabbi Yishmael, b'shava kayinu ba kayin, a very famous Gemara, zo ishi va zo ibi, uh, returning and coming.

So we're allowed to learn gezeirah shavah one to the next even if it's not the exact same word.

So frankly, Gemara taveicha shchitah should be the same thing.

Responds the Gemara on the fourth white line, ani mili'eika, d'le'ika d'damila.

This is only where there's nothing more similar.

If there's nothing more similar, that's where we have the tan d'vei Yishmael that we can learn out, bi, uh, we can learn out shivah.

Aval ikka d'damila, but anytime we have something which is more comparable to the same word, lei midama d'alfin.

If you say that hagav refers to the jumping insects that is called a hagav, this is going back to the previous Braisa from yesterday, yachol, I would think, "Ein ba kol simanim alalu", I would think that an insect is kosher even if it doesn't have the simanim.

"Tam lehiye minehu achui ba kol ha'simanim halalu", till it has all these simanim.

So says the Gemara, what we said in the Braisa was that we had a hava amina that a hagav is gonna be kosher even without the basic characteristics of the kosher grasshopper.
