R4M

One or two hits will destroy a bomber.

Some later Me 262s carry the R4M unguided rocket, twenty-four of them in underwing racks, fired in a spread pattern into a bomber formation.

Pilots describe flying through the explosions of the salvo and emerging to find two or three aircraft going down.

The aircraft is not invincible though.
