In any case, the conversion was really a dramatic thing, though it was for me in slow motion.

but Jack and Art and certain key people, especially Tom, who would drive me to the Ligonier Valley Study Center so that I began learning from Dr. R.C. Sproul.

So the Lordship of Jesus Christ was paramount.

The authority of the Word of God, this was just stamped into my own conversion experience.

I just went to my young life leader and was like, straighten me out, what's going on here? And he did.

And so I had an experience of the Holy Spirit that I don't understand, but I do know this, that almost immediately afterwards, reading scripture came alive, a fire in my heart.

And I just began going deeper and deeper, and with the help of Dr. Lindsley and Dr. Sproul and Dr. Gershner and others, I began to really recognize the, not only the Lordship of Christ, but the sovereignty of God, that Christ is the Lord of history, that God is sovereign over all of creation.

And so the brand was strong Calvinism.
