And however hard or scary it felt, was that I always wanted to be the warm gay that extended a hand of kindness and connection.

And I wrote an article about it for QX Magazine the day after.

And it's where I came up with the phrase, be the gay that you want to see in the world.

I want more kind, warm, open-hearted gay and queer men in the world who aren't doing that to each other.
