So that's kind of interesting.

Stuff like the Decepticons actually standing on Unicron, him being like a sort of proper planet, as it were, like when they're being transformed and everything, you know, I thought was really fascinating.

Also, the fact that the Quintessons are servants of Unicron in a way, like that is made explicit here, which is really interesting because...

It was evidently going to be a thing in the movie at one point.

We now march forward to a new age of peace and happiness.

Optimus Prime Awakening does not fit into that at all, because we then go through with Season 3, and we start with Five Faces of Darkness Part 1, we find out what happened to Galvatron, blah blah blah blah blah, Rodimus Prime, Grimlock, Five Faces of Darkness, we learn who the Quintessons are, blah blah blah blah.

It just doesn't fit anywhere.

It just doesn't.

The two of them blow up Trypticon's core from the inside and he goes offline.

But a little while later, Megatron returns to the fallen Titan and implants the spark of a dead Quintesson named Pentius into Trypticon's body.

And that's how he gains intelligence and becomes Megatron's ride off Cybertron.

it r- it really reminded me of that iconic scene where Hot Rod and Kup are up in front of, like, the Quintessons, and they're like, "Has the imperial magistrate made its verdict, guilty or innocent?" And it doesn't matter.

It's like, "Innocent.

Feed them to the Sharkticons." [laughs]

But everything going forward after that, like, he shows that he's able to adapt and be capable when getting the Dinobots onto the shuttle.

And look at everything that happens when they're on the Quintesson planet.

You know? It's like, you know, and him along with Kup.

You know, I mean, like, he and Kup are like a buddy cop duo.

And it, and it gets me, uh, genuinely emotional when, when thinking about the dynamic where, uh, when Hot Rod blasts through that barricade and Kup calls Hot Rod a turbo-revvin' young punk, "I'll straighten you out yet." And I feel like in this scene, in this line delivery where Kup is saying, "I knew you had potential, lad," you could argue that he straightened him out.

[laughs] Because really, I mean, that, that growth happens because of Kup's, uh, uh, mentorship or at the very least, uh, exposure.

Like, you know, even though the universal greeting doesn't work on Quintesson, it does work on the planet of Junk, and it's, again, what was that universal greeting again? Never mind, I remember.

You know, it's, it's, um...

Yeah, or Cybertron Returns, which was good, but then another movie, it was bad.

Yeah, Quintessons.

The Quintessons were there.

Anyway, of course, Peter Cullen has passed away, so can't voice Optimus Prime.

People are saying, well, there's rumours already, I don't know, it's probably bullshit, but it could happen, that Chris Hemsworth will...

She's like, "We have no idea what the Galactic Authorities are even, and, uh, aren't we in enough trouble as it is?"
