Quinn Henicle

All right.

It appears that Quinn Henicle for ODU is going to play against Georgia state.

Let's talk about that right after I thank you for a record setting month.

In business, there's the easy way with staples or the hard way.

They outgain ODU 405-247, while Old Dominion's running game was completely shut down, finishing with negative 14 yards on 28 carries.

Quinn Henicle did not play in this one, as he got banged up in the week prior.

and Camden Coleman got the second straight start for a missing J.C. Evans.

Yes, Brett, ODU quarterback got hurt.

So JMU, uh, with the victory there, one to know in the Sunbelt, uh, uh, ODU, Owen one, but more importantly, they're one in three and not looking good.

And we'll see how long Quinn Henicle is out.

So not a great year so far for our guy, Ricky Ronnie and the ODU Monarchs.

All right.

Aiden Duncanson had the best game for the Pirates and the best play of the day, catching a huge pick six in the second half to turn the tide in the game.

And then looking at ODU, Quinn Henicle was eight for 20 passing for 94 yards, so not a great day from him.

He had 16 carries for 73 yards and a touchdown, so he did get going with those legs a little bit.

Devin Roche had 18 carries for 102 yards.

Of course, going against the triple option team back in week one with VMI, shut the run game down pretty well there.

Against ODU, the Monarchs didn't have a ton of success running the ball until late when Quinn Henicle took that big rush to the house.

And so overall, I think Virginia Tech has done a really good job playing the run.

but there's definitely some aspects of the passing defense to work on.

ECU, they do hold them to a field goal.

Quinn Henicle also threw a brutal interception.

Let's see where that is.

There was a brutal interception there.

by Quinn Henicle right at the beginning of the third quarter.

Again, drive, it's third and 18 at the ECU 41, okay? And these are the things that absolutely kill me, all right? He obviously hasn't started a lot.

He's trying to make a play.

Defensively, they played all right.

They had a lot of turnovers.

Through two games, Quinn Henicle is 22 of 33 passing, so not a ton of passing from him.

For 330 yards, three touchdowns, and an interception.

He is also leading the team in rushing with 29 carries for 151 yards and three touchdowns.
