Uh, so but we see one of these attempted attacks, uh, as Wolverine, Domino, and Kid Omega are sent into the forge, and Nimrod pretty much immediately finds them and disables every single one of them, uh, very quickly.

Takes him about seven minutes.

Yeah.

I mean, they had some they were specifically called out in the script.

like Monet, Quentin Quire, Wing, and then Mark and Jill, which were kind of reimaginings, but based off of the X-Men graphic novel with Chris Claremont and Brent Anderson.

So this is the X-Men God Loves, Man Kills story, which is, if you haven't read it before, it's worth the read.

But there are two very, very minor characters in that book that are mutants that were pulled in.

The opening sequence with like the kids running and you've got some of like Generation X with like penance and And I'm thinking maybe Sink.

And then you also had some of the newer Generation X kids from the Resurrection relaunch where you have Quentin Quire with them.

Not to mention, I mean, when we were watching this episode, how many times did I just shout out names of all the characters that we could see? It was like Glob, the Stepford Cuckoos, Nature Girl was in there, Sprite.

Yeah, this was like

We're told that the 3K team has been, quote, psychically hardened and not in a sexy way by Cassandra Nova, which you got to say that.

Otherwise, you know, Quentin just shuts them all down and the scene's finished.

Mm-hmm.

So I did like the page where Psylocke uses her psychic sword to slice Juice's head clear off, but then the head immediately grows back because, again, he's composed entirely of Sunning Delight, maybe Tang, maybe Fanta.

He doesn't even realize that the rest of the team doesn't like him.

So I think he's my favorite.

Another cool little bit, Quentin's version of Psychic Combs gives everyone on the team a video game style heads up display, complete with a map, icons showing everyone's locations, probably a scoreboard too, right? That seems like a Quentin Quire kind of thing to show how he's winning.

It's kind of unfortunate.

Okay.

And I was like, okay, if I got Q, I'd be like, oh, Quentin Quire.

See? Okay.

So you wanted him once.

Peter Parker.

Oh, everybody getting two.

Quentin Quire.

Oh, it came true.

They are interested in putting in the work into helping people get to know new X-Men.

And then Quentin Quire's in the background.

It's not his time yet, but the show gives the sense that it could be someone's time soon.
