Quentin L. Cook

So I agree with that, except for when members start to recognize that they're being asked to do more and more and more in the temples, and to fill those temples and to staff those temples, and they go and they notice that the temples aren't full, but yet they're hearing in general conference how the church has never been stronger, how it continues to grow at unprecedented levels.

I think Quentin Cook made that claim-

We have some new details about the Smithfield Utah Temple, which will be dedicated on April 18th by Elder Quentin L. Cook of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles.

The open house will run from February 25th to March s- 27th.

This will be the second temple in Cache County, joining the Logan Temple, which opened in 1884.

Oh, that's the only one I can think of.

So anyway...

I, my sense is it's, it's, in terms of real membership growth, it's kind of stagnating in Latin America and the Philippines and the developed world, and it's clearly declining in the United States.

But Quentin Cook and, you know, other top church leaders just don't want to admit that because, uh, how can it be God's one true church if it's dying-

... um, on the vine, especially in Utah? And so you get like a faithful, committed, informed member like Jeff Strong writing a book like Torn, telling the church and the worldwide membership, "There's a real problem here.
