Today, however, the infamous case has a conclusion, but it is one that leaves many feeling that true justice will never be served.

On October 3rd, 1984, Christine Jessup was kidnapped from her home in Queensville, near the greater Toronto area.

Christine's mother and older brother, Kenny, left Christine at home on her own when they traveled to visit her father, Bob, where he was in custody at a detention center.

As Christine was only nine, her mother had deemed that she was too young to see her father behind bars and to be exposed to the other inmates of the detention center.

Now let's step back inside the vault and revisit the murder of Christine Jessup.

Queensville, Ontario is a small country town far south of the noisy and crowded city of Toronto.

And back in the mid-1980s, it was a place with only a handful of homes clustered around a grocery store, a church, a playground, and a cemetery.

Queensville was the kind of country village where most people left their doors unlocked.

All the kids went to the same school.

Everyone shopped at the same general store, and everyone attended the same church on Sunday mornings.

And relatively quickly, they'd know who did it.

But all of that suddenly changed one day in October 1984.
