Yeah, totally.

There's a history of the 500, whether it was at Sandown, Queensland Raceway, wherever, being shortened because of weather.

Mainly it's weather that causes the.

Um, building a track, uh, to be able to get the cer- certification to be a Formula 1 track.

Not, not every track in the world is, like, re- Like, you couldn't just go down to Queensland Raceway and, and chuck some Formula 1 cars on it.

It, it's not got the grade, it's not got the runoff areas, it's not safe enough-

You've got, like in Queensland Raceway.

So there'll be many points to prove for this team as they go down to the mountain.

But I think Penn Mountain Racing, they'd also feel a bit chastened by today, at least for the car 19 side, because the 26 was just an amazing

And they're competitive in today's classes.

It's like I was up at Queensland Raceway the other day and they've got all the lap times for the fastest classes on the wall.

And a McLaren Senna, I forget the exact time, but its time was posted up on the wall.

Supertourists were doing quicker times than that 20 years ago.

But I remember someone referring to it as PlayStation racing, because you had a bunch of guys in the field who were literally driving their cars like it was PlayStation, like there was no consequence.

We did a round at Queensland Raceway, and I think they used to draw qualifying out of a hat.

So you do the top 10, but then they'd draw it out of a hat or reverse agree.

Tell us a bit about it and how it came together.

So obviously Miss Queensland Raceway, thank you to all the hunters out there that were asking where I was and why I wasn't on the grid.

But yeah, I managed to, thankfully my sponsors Rokon have jumped on for two rounds.

So I'll do the bend and I'll do the supercar Trans Am round at Sandown as well, which is great.

You sort of broke down a bit of the average across both drivers from Queensland Raceway.

Again, a bit of a tyre lottery, but you can get a bit of a form guide there.

I had a good chat to him at the test day the other day at Queensland Raceway.

Here's what he thinks about their chances.

Yeah, there's no better feeling as a co-driver knowing that you've got a genuine chance of winning races, going to the two biggest races of the year.

It's highly publicized.

They are the Ford homologation team.

But the last two rounds, Zach, in Perth and Queensland Raceway, they found some serious form.

You could not ask for a better time of year

Yeah, I mean, we've had three rounds so far.

Sydney was our first one, Townsville, and then we just recently raced at Queensland Raceway.

So for me, we probably struggled a little bit at the start of the year.

I think we were fighting a few car gremlins from the way the season finished last year, but I feel like we're we're building a bit of momentum now.

I always love going.

We actually went to the racetrack, um, a couple of weeks ago.

It was a week before Queensland raceway.
