Queen's Regiment

you? Well, and also it's sort of like you've got this sort of elevated status that you've done it all because you've been a sergeant or something and got a three star in the cadets and it's a bit of a rude awakening when you hit basic training but...

yeah so the cadets was great because I joined that I think slightly under age you have to be 13 or something I got in at 12 and a half 12 and three quarters and around about that age and initially I was on the mainland with the Queen's Regiment or what was the Queen's Regiment so it's great induction but when I moved to the Isle of Wight in the 80s joined the Royal Corps Transport and it was great because I'd obviously moved geographical locations from the mainland to the island and I was a bit Bit of a grockle, as they call it.
