Queen Street West

So that's Church and Wellesley Village.

Queen West is our fashion district.

The entertainment district is where I live.

And that's like the downtown core.

I agreed.

We went to a tiny wine bar on Queen West, bathed in gold fairy lights.

Nadia tried to make me laugh, telling a story about a first-date disaster.

Guy brought a live snake.

Nice.

Queen Street.

Queen Street's great.

That's so specific.

And, you know, it's on the download right now, but there's a building right opposite the gym that we're looking at potentially doing like a post-party at.

So it's just really cool the fact that like we shot it on Queen West and like five blocks away is TIFF.

We made this so much for a Toronto audience, and it's in the vein of other Canadian rom-coms that I love, like The F Word, like Double Happiness by Mina Sean, which is also another coming-of-age identity film.

So I wanted to create something that speaks to that canon of Canadian cinema.

And there's actually a small Chick-fil-A by the radio station in Toronto that I slide over to.

It's a couple of blocks down Queen Street.

Very good.

Downtown Toronto at essentially on Duncan Street between Queen Street West and Richmond West.

We see most, I won't say mostly sunny skies.

As I look outside the window here at Duncan Street between Richmond Street West and Queen Street West, there are no umbrellas out.

Everything is wet, but portions of the sidewalk have that look where you can see where it rained, but, you know, it's starting to dry out.

I don't know.

Maybe he's a Queen West guy.

I doubt that.

But it's an interesting thing.
