Quartzsite

Oh, yeah.

I mean, Quartzsite's amazing.

There's some really good people out there, as a matter of fact.

And then Parker, just up the 95.

Became an American citizen in 1880, went back to his birth name, married a woman from Tucson, had two children, and continued to work for the army with their pack mules.

He's buried in Quartzsite, Arizona.

His grave is marked by a stone pyramid topped with a metal camel.

Oh, wow.

They did say that there were 444 miles on the Lexus that the investigators couldn't account for.

So prosecutors theorized that Larry could have traveled roughly 222 miles from Chula Vista to an area near Quartzsite, Arizona.

But there were multiple problems with searching that particular area.

The first was that it was nothing but desert for miles and miles.

So interesting, this last weekend, I was able to go to Parker and Quartzsite along with Chris Mays and listen to kind of a forum of what people are talking about, as well as being able to do some research and research.

the Arizona Clean Elections has done some research and it's very interesting.

One of the things I learned and that I don't think this is surprising for anybody, but the number one issue in Arizona is affordability.

In July at Black Canyon or the Gunnison National Park, debris flows stranded 21 visitors, all of whom were rescued safely.

Down in the Mojave at Quartzsite, Arizona, not far from the Colorado, two major highways, Interstate 10 and State Route 95, flooded due to monsoon rains and damaged a number of businesses in Quartzsite.

There was flooding below the salt fire scar in Ruidoso, New Mexico, which has had its share of problems in the last few years, on July 20th and August 16th.

There was flooding across Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument, Our friend Morgan Sjogren, who's been on the podcast a couple of times, told me today that Escalante was, in her words, unrecognizable.

So he was doing that and would, you know, translate various messages that they would receive, be it over an airspace or shacked up in a hotel with listening devices.

Um, and again, he didn't tell me any of this until he was on that visit with me in, um, in Gold Bar, and he was, he still lives there, but he lives in Quartzsite, Arizona right now.

So just think the middle of the desert where it's, well, right now, about 120 degrees.
