The M1250-1 Bulk Fuel Distribution System The M1251 Bulk Fuel Distribution System, BFDS, received its conditional material release on August.6, with its first unit equipped, FUE, even till August.

10-14, at the U.S. Army Quartermaster School at Fort Lee, Virginia, the system replaces the legacy M1062 and partially replaces the M967 tanker trailers within bulk line haul units.

Based on a modified commercial semi-trailer towed by M915A3 or M915A5 prime movers, the BFDS can transport 9,000 gallons of fuel across improved and unimproved roads at normal convoy speeds.

The system is compliant with the European Agreement concerning the International Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Road 4 deployment outside the continental United States.
