I know the high-level stuff basically every manufacturer makes the chip slightly differently ARM doesn't either they don't make any or they make very few what you do you go to ARM you buy the license and the blueprints somebody might be correcting me I really know only the high-level stuff and maybe that even wrong but the upshot is that if you Qualcomm you do your chips they need different software in the kernel for each device right so sorry I'm making a hash of this basically like peripheral as well I think different drivers that's the reason why you can't see why you don't see much Linux on phones but yeah basically the whole ARM thing is fragmented and it's not standardized like x86 is and the vendors fork the kernel so yeah
