Qilin

From before Confucius was born, he was destined for greatness.

Around 551 BCE, a legendary creature called the Qilin appeared before his expectant mother, Yan Zhengzai, and upon his birth, two great dragons circled overhead.

But Confucius was a late bloomer.

He held a career in government while he thought about ways to make his society better, but he didn't share his ideas until he was in his 50s.

if it has two horns.

In the classic book of rites, the Qilin is listed as one of the four intelligent creatures along with the phoenix, dragon, and tortoise, often referred to as the four auspicious beasts.

The Qilin heralds virtue, future greatness, and just leadership.

It also embodies prosperity, longevity, and a heavenly status.

And you only see it during the reign of a just ruler.

The affected system has been disconnected, and ATF says there's currently no indication that the breach disrupted the agency's operation.

A ransomware group called Qilin has claimed responsibility, but ATF has not confirmed that claim.

We also still don't know exactly what information was accessed or whether any data was stolen.

That investigation is ongoing.

So, you know, there's a variety.

When you look at in China, where they call the unicorn the Qilin, it looks very different from, you know, more European and Western kinds of notions of unicorns.

Well, I've also seen them where they almost look like goats with like a chin hair and stuff, you know, like they're more, and like when I was in Korea, I was in the Korean like uh, their maid, their old palace.

And they have, um, I remember they have, they have a big mural or tapestry.
