Pushkin Press

Like I was translating, I just submitted my second book recently.

Vegetable Girl by Akia Sahina, which will be published by Pushkin Press some point next year.

And that book is really interesting because it's kind of the coming of age of like a woman from ages, from birth until she's 30.

And the whole thing is that her mom is, she gives birth to her.

Her essays and translations have appeared in many publications, including Granta, Vogue, The Paris Review, and Plowshares.

Her memoir of growing up in a family of artists, Our Friend Art, is forthcoming from Pushkin Press, US-UK in 2027.

Welcome to the podcast, Daisy.

It is such an honor to be speaking with you today.
