Purple Hearts

Now, this one's going to be controversial, but this is going straight back.

to no notes no i'm just kidding this is no notes is crazy straight to that's just for us and that's a little movie called purple hearts

i similarly doubt you said like red white and royal blue is just for me purple hearts is just for you but like i'm willing to hear you out what's funny though is i have discussed this movie at work before you have your co-workers are woke as hell no somebody brought up how they saw like a netflix trailer of it and i had misunderstood and i thought they had watched the movie and so then i started talking about the plot of the movie and they were like what and i was like oh oh

never mind i've seen it actually um such an excellent film like

oh showstopping

I got the gist.

um next another cinderella story and for those that don't understand the distinction that is the selena gomez version um not to commandeer this again but that's going straight to that's just for us

i actually agree with you and of all well no between this and purple hearts like i enjoyed this movie a lot more like i i agree with you on this one

That's why it could be both.

Hey, on the topic of movies, did you ever see the movie Purple Hearts? I sure did.

Okay.

It's a great movie.

Oh, it came out years ago.

It's 2022.

2022, Purple Hearts.

Yeah, so four years ago? Yeah, it's a really good movie.

And even for stuff that two, three years ago might have been blockbuster numbers are now basically bombing.

Now, to be fair, the Michael B. Jordan animated film from Skydance, I believe it's called Swapped, that legged out like a mofo, like Purple Hearts level, and that is now one of their 10 biggest movies of all time.

But other than that, they've been in shit city in terms of even films that you would expect to procure buzz have not.

And for me, at least, the simple reason for that is that you have a generation that has grown up where this is normal, so the idea of a should have been in theaters movie being on Netflix is no longer special.

He was in-

And Purple Hearts and-

Purple Hearts.

Yeah.

That's where I saw him as well.

Mm-hmm.

His personal producing credits include Purple Hearts and The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants.

But Alloy's corporate track record, it's staggering.

It really is.
