Puppy Bowl

It was 25 years, but it seemed like 30 years.

But I think my favorite one was when I got approached by the Puppy Bowl.

And again, for your listeners that make the event easy for the community relations person.

So basically, all I had to do was get the players, let them know what the event is, which I'll explain in a second.

Don't say ask for an afternoon.

And then that also makes it easier for the media because they know that the event's going to go from two to three and you put a precise time on it.

So the Puppy Bowl people approached me and they said they were providing free adoptions at the Animal Humane Society leading up to the Super Bowl.

So I went to the guys on the team, and it's important to get to know the players, what they're into.

We, like-

She wants to see the fucking Puppy Bowl.

Yeah.

There's, there's this book called Hug.

How sick would it be if the dog Super Bowl presented by Mike Vick and family?

The Puppy Bowl.

That'd be unbelievable.

Mike Vick, Puppy Bowl? That'd be great.

Comes in there.

How sick would that be? I'd be scared to enter my dog in that, but I would watch it.

Well, they're going to be aggressive.

His dogs will try to win, but just reframing what he did and putting a good twist on it.

Last couple of years, they have not coughed up the money for the Super Bowl, which has been a big disappointment.

And they've done the Puppy Bowl.

They did the Flash, right? Was that the last big Super Bowl trailer they did? Oh my gosh.

Is that why they stopped? They were like,

Oh, that's a good comparison.

You know when one network airs the Super Bowl and another network airs the Puppy Bowl to capture the audience that wants absolutely nothing to do with football?

Right, the alternative option.

These books are actively avoiding being film tie-ins.
