yeah for sure it's actually not out until next week but it's one I've been really enjoying over the last few weeks because I interviewed them which you'll be able to read on Sunday time soon there's been a couple of singles released from it so far though so you might have heard one of them it's the new album by Gilliband called Pugnello Are you a fan of Gilliband? They are very unique and I would say they're maybe a little bit of an acquired taste.

So I understand why people don't get them.

Are you one of those people?

And I just find them so compelling as a band.

And they've been so influential, like the likes of Fontaines DC have cited them as an influence, you know.

and they're still young yeah they're still in their 30s as far as i know which is makes me feel very old but anyway pugnello is their fourth album it takes its title this is a good story because it goes to show how unique they are it takes its title from a short horror story written by the uncle of frontman dara kiley about a mysterious laptop with a haunted font haunt Why can't I say that? A haunted font called Pugnello that leads the user to mischief.

So it takes its title from that.

They want to be authentic without losing their audience's interest.

Right, and with their upcoming album, Pugnello, there's a lot of anticipation.

I hope it continues this theme.

Same, the title itself sounds intriguing.

I wonder what it signifies for them.

Yeah, and how Aloja fits into the narrative of the album will be super interesting to see.

And let's not forget their tour.

It'll be fascinating to see how they present these ideas live.
