Puffins

That was in New Brunswick.

The Puffins themselves are on Grand Machias Seal Island, which was a really cool story in itself.

This island is like contested between Canada and the United States.

And there's a lighthouse on it.

Hey, so do I! Also, we wanted to recognize a few more super awesome, super special creators this week.

Joe sent in Captain Griffin, the Puffin.

Luca made Garzilla.

And Penny created Nathan.

Yeah, that is quite gutting.

And I'm just looking at the Puffin book behind you and thinking of how charismatic they are as animals.

I don't feel like these have got enough airtime and enough public support behind them.

I didn't even know about them until we heard about them and until you translated that name from Spanish into little cow.

Jupiter's the largest.

Puffin's a bird.

Universal Cereal Bus.

I don't even know if I've heard

that before.

Good job with Puffin.

Thanks.

The country credited for inventing modern pizza, Tymon, is Italy.

And guys, the baby voices are in full effect.

Puffin' this and puffin' that.

And just when I'm beginning to feel my soul leaving my body, Kendra rescues us from across the room.

Hi, Moose! We cut to Hef sitting in bed in black pajamas looking completely bewildered.

And Kendra explains, Since Holly calls you Puffin, I'm gonna call you Moose.

And Bridget's gonna call you, uh, Bear.

Needless to say, Moose and Bear never catch on or become lasting additions to the Playboy Mansion lexicon.

The scene ends with Holly cuddling the stuffed Puffin she bought earlier and baby-talking it to sleep.

you?

Hello, Puffin.

We haven't seen you since all the way back on the Farn Islands.

Oh,

it's been far too long.

And this must be Roxy.

Hi, Puffin.

Huh?

Now, interestingly, Barn Owl topped the bird category with nearly 300,000 nominations ahead of Common Kingfisher, which had just over 200,000.

Puffin received just under 200,000, but it was subsequently selected as the most popular marine species, with the bank saying it would help celebrate Britain's coastline.

So, as David says, this is something to look forward to when you get some cash.

Whenever they launch this, I don't think a date has been confirmed yet.

Yeah, so it's going to be fun when they come out.

I have to say, I do agree with Ian in as much as I was surprised that there was no butterfly choice on there, especially as we're hot on the heels of the national vote for Britain's favourite butterfly, which was peacock.

I think Barn Owl and Puffin are pretty good choices.

I'm not surprised that Puffin made it.

Uh, and my, my parents are able to manage the hotel while we're gone.

So yeah, it's, it's fun to be able to show people Tufted Puffins, but then also take a week off to go to Costa Rica or whatever the case is.

[laughs]

Yeah.

Oh, perfect.

So you probably encourage people that want to bird just to come stay there.

It sounds like the most convenient place there to go on the Tufted Puffin Walks and-

Yeah.
