Psycho Shit

It's not doing things that any person with any self-awareness knows that people are not going to like.

And I think with The Strokes, especially with this new record, Reality Awaits, I mean, the first song on the record is called Psycho Shit.

And it is, you know, there's tons of attitude on it.

It's a very kind of slow-moving dirge that becomes more of a rock song at the end, but But it's not a song you put at the top of your record, especially in the streaming age, thinking, oh, this is going to grab people.

And I think after a while, and maybe the Auto-Tune isn't the first...

Psycho Shit is the first song, and you're just like, "What the fuck is happening-

Yeah

... on this song with the Auto-Tune? What's happening in general?" After a while, I don't know that I didn't hear it or ignored it, but it just blended in maybe better.

A track that brings back a bad time in Hannah's life is Such Small Hands by La Dispute.

And a track Hannah hates by an artist she loves is Psycho Shit, well, basically the whole album, by The Strokes.

A track once stuck in Hannah's head she can never get out is Yeah by Usher.
