Psalm 129

I think about Psalm 83, I believe it is, where it talks about God pursuing with your storm and terrify them with your tempest, resisting them.

You know, that's a powerful prayer because when they're resisted by God, they're going to be questioning, well, if Satan's so powerful, why is God able to stop us? Also, another powerful prayer is Psalm 129, verse 6 says, That they'll be like the grass upon the housetops withering before coming to maturity.

That they won't be able to get their roots down and bear fruit for Satan's kingdom.

That's important because they try to get their roots down in different places.

Here's one that's kind of interesting.

Psalm 129, verse 6, like the psalmist is actually calling down a curse on somebody and it says, let them be like the grass on the housetops, which withers before it grows up, right? Really hard to get a root system.

You know, the sun is there beating.

You're not going to have the shade of trees and everything else.

So let's get into the reading of God's word.

Psalm 129.

From my earliest youth, my enemies have persecuted me.

Let all Israel say it.

Many times they have afflicted me from my youth up.

Let Israel now say, Psalm 129, verse 1.

Dear Lord, tonight I take comfort and trust that you are a God of healing.

There have been many events in my life that were out of my control.

As you lay down to sleep, invite the presence of the Lord into your space.

Let them be as the grass growing upon the housetops, which withers before it grows up, which does not fill the hand of the reaper, neither the bosom of him who binds up the sheaves, so that those who go by say not so much as the Lord prosper you.

We bless you in the name of the Lord." Psalm one thirty.

"Out of the deep have I called unto you, O Lord.

Lord, hear my voice.

My soul waits for the Lord more than watchmen for the morning, more than watchmen for the morning.

O Israel, trust in the Lord, for with the Lord there is mercy, and with Him is plenteous redemption.

And He shall redeem Israel from all their sins." Psalm one thirty-one.

"O Lord, I am not haughty.

Amen.

According to Psalm 129 verse 8, the blessing of the Lord be upon you.

We bless you in the name of the Lord.

And according to Numbers 6, 24 to 26, the Lord bless thee and keep thee.
