Proverbs 10

It's who you are.

Proverbs 10, verse 9 says, He who walks with integrity walks securely, yet he who perverts his way will become known.

Character is not what you display in public.

It's who you are in private.

So it could be quite literally a thing that that person, that loved one, needs most in their lives.

So let us conclude with the words of Scripture, Proverbs 10, which tells us, He who winks at a fault causes trouble.

but he who frankly reproves promotes peace.

A path to life is his who heeds admonition, but he who disregards reproof goes astray.

I think I may have mentioned laziness versus diligence in a prior Bible study.

Diligence in Proverbs 10, 4. but the hand of the diligent makes rich.

And so whether we're talking about your spiritual diligence and seeking the Lord, things will be added.

Or we could be talking about diligence in your relationships, perhaps in your marriage and family, of looking out for, caring for, and blessing those relationships diligently.

You say, well, what is that? Okay, the blessing of the Lord just isn't God bless you.

The blessing of the Lord can and should be something tangible in your life.

Let's go to Proverbs 10, 22.

Proverbs 10, 22 says, the blessing of the Lord makes one rich.

If you're attacking God by attacking man, then the net result of that attack is no fellowship with God.

Proverbs 10, verses 11 and 21, chapter 13 verse 14, chapter 18 verse four, all of this says that the tongue is to be a fountain of refreshment that gives life.

The difference between the right word and the wrong word is the difference between lightning and a lightning bug, all the difference in the world.

He then comes to a close here and he says, "Does a fountain send out from the same opening both fresh and bitter water?" We have water fountains in the foyer.

Be the same person everywhere.

Proverbs 10 and verse nine.

People with integrity walk safely.

But those who follow crooked paths will be exposed.

or what we might need most to be corrected fraternally.

As Proverbs 10 says, He who winks at a fault causes trouble, but he who frankly reproves promotes peace.

A path to life is his who heeds admonition, but he who disregards reproof goes astray.

Proverbs 10 and verse 4.

Is God challenging someone? 10 and verse 4.

He becomet poor that dealeth with a slack hand, but the hand of the diligent maketh rich.

I'm, let's read the word first and ask God to help us.

Proverbs 10, verse 2, treasures of wickedness profit nothing, but righteousness delivers from death.

The Lord will not suffer the soul of the righteous to famish, but he casteth away the substance of the wicked.

Going over to verse 17 in Proverbs 10.

My dad underlined, he is in the way of life that keeps instruction, but he that refuses reproof errs.

He erreth, he makes error, he does wrong.
