Protectron

My VFW post commander had asked me to give a speech to a room full of potential donors.

Our lodge was raising money for its first Protectron to help with the ever-growing number of veterans that were affected by the Battle of Anchorage.

That decades-long war left its mark on hundreds of thousands of young men and women.

And just in our little Concord lodge, we had upwards of a hundred veterans that were struggling with post-traumatic stress disorder.

My post commander thought a Protectron could be programmed to help the growing number of veterans we served.

I tried to argue that a Mr.

Gutsy unit would do a better job, as they have a much better speech module, but the cost savings of the Protectron won out.

Money always seems to be tight when it comes to helping veterans, but there always seems to be money in the pot to send them to fight.

Yeah.

I've heard him do his Protectron voice, too.

That's

pretty cool.

That's when he was on the interview with Jesse, did the Protectron voice.

Yeah.

Yeah, yeah.
