Protect Ya Neck

Way, way different

... one of my favorite moments on this album is the end of Protect Your Neck, where he says like, "Yeah, I'm dirty as can be.

Matter of fact, get the girls out and let's have a mud fight." And it's just like he can be crass, he can be funny.

He seems to have a little bit more dimension on this record.

It wasn't...

I, I heard the name.

Like I heard people talking about it, like, "Yo, you gotta hear this Wu-Tang shit." I would hear snippets of it here and there, but it wasn't like I never got to sit down with Protect Your Neck and Method Man on the B side and just sit with them in my car for like 15, 20 minutes j- in the parking lot just listening to it over and over again.

What were you listening to at the time?

Yeah.

Um, we're gonna go to Method Man, Protect Ya Neck.

Method Man on Protect Ya Neck.

Is that better than Triumph?

I can't ...

Yeah

... know them.

Uh, no, his verse on Protect Ya Neck is really good, isn't it? Um-
