And one of the high-level officials that is implicated is the deputy of the head of the president's office.

So that's another person who is directly in the president's inner circle.

And another person is who has not been charged, but is very much implicated in the schemes that NABU and SABU uncovered is Ukraine's general prosecutor who resigned.

I'm pretty sure either today or yesterday.

I think it was today.

And, you know, the general prosecutor of Ukraine, I honestly don't even know if we've ever had a normal person in that post because it's it is it is a political like the general prosecutor is a political appointee.

Attorney Roger Thomas prosecuted while Attorney Malcolm Bishop led the defense, with Attorney Hugh Evans handling much of the cross-examination.

Now, the government has already used that kind of customs warrant to pull six months of another journalist's phone records from her phone carrier.

Prosecutors said during opening statements in November that Maxwell and Epstein used cash to lure underage girls into their pyramid scheme of abuse, where prosecutor Laura Pomerantz told jurors that in the 1990s, Maxwell would procure girls for Epstein for sexual abuse via the ruse of a massage.

And that's for sure.

Massage was code word in the world of Jeffrey Epstein and his cohorts for sexual behavior with these girls.

Glenn Maxwell's defense team has rested its case in her sex trafficking conspiracy trial without Maxwell taking the stand to testify.

The defense rested after presenting its case over two days, in which nine witnesses were called to testify in defense of Maxwell, a close confidant and longtime associate of Jeffrey Epstein.

Prosecutors said they would not put on any rebuttal.

So, again, that shows you what the prosecutors think about what the defense brought to the table.

All that matters, when a jury is given instruction at the time of the crime, the burden of proof is on the prosecution.

It's a little crazy, frankly, in Massachusetts because the burden of, oh, of proof is on the prosecutioN –I did not know this initially–to prove that, that, uh, u-uh, uh, that, uh, what's her name? Lindsay Clancy was not insane, not before, not after, at the time of the murder.

The subpoena was purely a tactical mechanism to remove a powerful knowledgeable advocate for the victim from the immediate environment of the jury.

And to prevent her from advising the Prosecution in real time as the Defense presented their arguments.

McCollum noted her profound shock that the Prosecution didn't counter this by utilizing her expertise on their own witness list.

So the Prosecution was fighting a complex circumstantial battle with their most vital piece of evidence locked behind a religious privilege, and one of their most knowledgeable investigators sequestered in the hallway by a Defense tactic.

And the resulting not guilty verdict triggers the absolute finality of the Fifth Amendment.
