Today we're talking with Tyler Beaulieu, drummer for the legendary New York metal band, Prong.

Tyler joined Prong in 2023 and has quickly made his mark behind the kit, bringing speed, precision, and serious power to a band known for blending hardcore, thrash, groove, and industrial metal.

He also appears on Prong's 2026 live album, Live and Uncleansed.

We talk about joining a band with nearly four decades of history, handling the demands of Prong's live show, his approach to heavy drumming, gear, touring, and what he has learned playing alongside Tommy Victor.

All band members equally were important and firing on all cylinders and, I mean, just listen to any fucking Danzig album after, uh-

Why in the fuck would I wanna know what Jim in Idaho thinks? Why would I care? And it's, a- and again, maybe it's me and I'm not a starfucker at all, but why do I care what Tommy Victor from Prong thinks? Or Bono or James Hetfield or any of them.

Why would we care? Why do we care is the real question, because obviously somebody must care somewhere or these guys wouldn't all have 500,000 followers, right?
