And so all that advice about taking it from home with lighting, a room scan, internet backups, all that is obsolete.

Now you've got to go in person to a testing center, which by the way, you should visit before test day, and you should get familiar with the interface using the LSAC Law Hub platform.

You've probably heard about it already.

But in case you haven't heard, the August LSAT was the first LSAT delivered inside Prometric testing centers almost exclusively since LSAC put the test back to remote in twenty twenty.

So these were buildings where a lot of folks hadn't taken an LSAT before.

A lot of folks had taken it remotely over the last few years, and this was new delivery software, a new user interface running on a live LSAT for the first time ever.

So there's just one 10-minute break in the middle of the section.

That's it.

Some folks said that with the Prometric testing centers in August, they only got five minutes rather than 10.

Again, not the same experience, so again, keep that in mind what the real test day conditions could actually be like.

What you don't want to is to take it in February with April as a backup, because at that point you're already way late in the cycle.

There's also a logistics component to consider as well, because the LSAT is now in-person only at Prometric Testing Centers, with remote testing only by exception, which means your test date also relates to seat availability at a specific physical building near you, and of course, the popular test centers fill up first.

And registration is first come, first served.

And so if you sign up for the LSAT last minute, you're gonna have the worst, least convenient test centers available to you.
