Procreate

I can't see hardly anything.

Right now I'm using, for some reason, the pencil tool on Procreate doesn't show up on the screen recorder.

I mean, on my end I can see it just fine.

But then I go over it with line art later to clean it up.

When it's too good, how are you gonna top that? That's what I'm saying.

I also talked about Procreate, which was probably not, not good, so...

[laughs] Do you like Procreate?

I do.

I tried it, but I was just like, I've been doing this way, like the way I create art now for the last 20 years, so I can open up a thing, get a thing done in a couple hours, you know?

They're napkins, they're smudges.

And I put that, I do it in a program called Procreate because it's pencil-based.

And I come up with a couple of things.

And then through the art of collaboration, I bring that to my studio team.

I'm like, I just need something to kind of like play around with.

I started messing around on Procreate app, which is just a lot of fun.

And I started trying to draw dogs because me.

And I started getting an idea of like a style and I started doing it.

Now, this is where we get into something I demonstrated during the art retreat, but also demonstrated during my latest Tuesday Art Chat Live, which you can find on my blog at kerrydixonart.com.

So I used Canva to I use tech to help plan out my photos, quite often Photoshop, Procreate or Canva.

I demonstrated Canva because I figured most people have access to that.

So you can do it with any photo editing programs or even just play around with cropping on your phone.
