But we continue to function as a nonprofit research center based principally in Whitehead's thought and related modes of thought.

So process philosophy or process theology, just for listeners who don't know, are modern schools of philosophical and theological thinking.

Of course, they have ancient antecedents and Heraclitus and ancient Taoist and Chinese thought, right? But the principal name associated with process philosophy, the principal name around which our center, the Center for Process Studies, revolves is Alfred North Whitehead.

So my role is quite fun.

I get to keep a finger on the pulse of a lot of the current conversations out there across philosophy, science, religion, meaning making, and then attempt to do something novel and with those conversations by bringing scholars into the same virtual room or physical room to discuss a lot of these issues or challenges we face across disciplinary spectrums.

And you've been packaging these ideas for a long time.

So for me...

Someone who is just dipping their toes and the average person in society that probably goes, well, what does it even mean? What is process philosophy? How do you start them out? What do you want to say as the principles, the fundamentals and the relationship that that is?
