Prison escape

In a small western town, a sheriff faces a crisis of conscience when an out-of-town man is condemned to hang for a murder he did not commit.

From the ABC radio network, this is Theater 5, episode 242, Jailbreak, first heard July 6, 1965.

As the sheriff wrestles with his official duty, he begins to plan an escape for the prisoner in his custody.

Bryce Walton wrote the story, adapted from his 1956 short story in Trapped Detective magazine.

Warren Somerville directed with Jackson Beck, Margaret Hamilton, Robert Reddick, Jack Grimes, and Roger DeKoven.

And now, we return to the original broadcast.

Theater 5 presents Mr. Jackson Beck in Jailbreak.

Jailbreak.

Yeah, and once again, they won't admit that they most likely took it down because of the massive negative reaction that it actually ended up backfiring, many people believe, rather than help to the Ramaswamy campaign.

All right, next up on the run, shockingly, we have another prison escape to tell you about.

This one happened in Arkansas.

And it was violent.

How are we supposed

to get off this bloody ship and find Leo? No, Frankie.

That smells delicious.

Can I have some?

At least I don't think they should be shark food.

I mean,

do you think Leo's okay? I don't know.

Set Sail, episode four, Jailbreak.

And we're not cramped into this tiny little area.

So when they're actually doing a prison escape, it looks like they're actually running somewhere.

I love my 45 to get Dutch.

I thought they're so bad, man.

Let's see, as of this podcast coming up, the video won't be out yet, but it should be up the following week.

This one's called Jailbreak.

There's an upcoming game.

I think it's being released at Essen or maybe pre-orders open at Essen and they're showing it off at Essen.

I think that's, I think it's the best fight sequence.

Um, there's not a huge fight sequence in the second episode i feel like no the prison escape

is pretty cool but there's not really

a

huge uh fight sequence per se but um you know obviously i think another scene is the most important scene but that could also be best seen because it was a pretty emotional moment that happened and all that kind of stuff so i guess we'll get to that in a second but i would probably go with you i think that was the best fight scene in the first um episode i have to be someone else i have to be something else but you know all three fight scenes in the first episode were pretty good like i said the prison escape is pretty good but it wasn't as good as that clock tower fight

it is funny with the best scene in the in the most important scene you are right the only reason i'm giving it a little bit of a difference is because I am trying to keep them separate in a sense, you know, like I don't, I mean, they intersect and they do it probably is.

You're probably right.

That's why I said all you guys are like ready for this in a big way.

Possibly the best equipped prison break party

that ever

existed.
