What has motherhood been like for you as you are giving your children something that you didn't have? Do you feel like some parts of that brought healing to you?

Priscilla GwallaGUEST
You know what? Um, I'd say the main thing that I got from Mom was the ability to be present, and not just be present, but teach.

Priscilla GwallaGUEST
So I make it a point with the kids to always teach them something and be honest with them.

Priscilla GwallaGUEST
Uh, I know Mom probably wouldn't agree with this, but, uh, she doesn't like always how honest I am with them.

Priscilla GwallaGUEST
Like, I tell them when things are not great or tell them when things are not the best.

Priscilla GwallaGUEST
If I'm not in a good mood, if I'm not feeling well, I like to communicate that with them so that they could have open dialogue with me.

Priscilla GwallaGUEST
And I feel like, um, with Aria being on the spectrum, that really helps with telling her how I feel so that she can in turn tell me how she feels, even if I don't agree with it.
