Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Drama Series

And two stuck out for me for a weird reason.

They're nominated for Best Drama.

They are one-word titles.

So Pluribus and Paradise, one-word titles.

All right.

Okay, that's all I have out.

And I am looking at the Emmys that have won the Emmy for Best Dramatic Series that only have one-word titles.

And the ones we have are Succession, ER, Maverick, and Gunsmoke.

It won its first one over the past week.

It's a technical Emmy for Outstanding Stunt Performance for In the Name of the Mother, a.k.a.

The Trial of Seven.

Probably pretty well earned, I would say.

Yeah, I need a break now.

Yeah, totally that episode was really excellent, you know, obviously really important episode for the series and they did do some really interesting things like that like you said the The helmet cam like we've seen behind the scenes of that of them like putting you know the cam Up it's like a little I think it was a cart thing.

I don't think they actually had it on a horse But yeah, that's the way they made that was really interesting but A Night of the Seven Kingdoms is still up for more Emmys because the technical Emmys, they don't broadcast those.

It's a lot of like the film craft stuff that actually I almost said the actual Emmys, the main televised Emmys, which is essentially like the very popular, well-known categories that happens on September 14th.

Okay, which then brings us to, let's just go ahead for it, Outstanding Drama Series.

When I was looking at this to see, like I did last year, I watched a couple shows.

Well, do you see them surprising us in the next category, Rebecca? No.

No, I do not see them surprising us in Outstanding Drama Series, but we will talk about it anyway.

The nominees are The Pit, The Gilded Age, A Night of the Seven Kingdoms, Paradise, The Diplomat, Pluribus, Slow Horses, and Your Friends and Neighbors.

Last year, the pit won, and I am predicting a win again for the pit.
