Primavera Sound Barcelona

We've got a wonderful lineup to look into.

Yes, we are indeed looking at the, uh, electronic side of the Primavera Sound lineup.

Before we do that, I just wanna say, apparently, pigs are quite ... generally like to be quite clean, but it's just because, you know, they roll in the dirt to keep, to keep cool.

Poor things.

... that's another big issue.

I love what Pau Cristòfol from booking was saying in his interview, how Primavera lineups are al- uh, are always about context and, and, uh, the moment in time that the band is coming to the festival has a certain significance.

So the relevance, the historical im- im- importance of Chemical Brothers, who've been coming to this country, as I said, for decades, year after year, but they've never played Primavera Sound.

The fact they're, they're doing it this year, along with the context of having Underworld, having Bicep, having Semimobile Disco, having all these bands that, that, that are important to rave culture, the, that, that, that part of history.

So I went to Primavera.

Is it Primavera or Primavera Festival?

It's tomato tomato, really, isn't it?

It's tomato tomato.

So first things first before we get into all of it though, Ch- Chappell Roan is a phenomenal artist, okay? She's one of one, bitch, okay? She's one of one, and she's such an important artist too.

I saw her first at Prim- live at Primavera Sound for the first time at, uh, in 2025, girl.

Oh my God.

Watching her perform, like, and, uh, her singing Pink Pony Club, the whole s- crowd sang together.

continues her tour across Australia with another night in Melbourne right now followed by Sydney this Friday and Saturday and then Brisbane next Tuesday they also apparently have been releasing last-minute tickets I don't know if this is true last-minute tickets for Olivia Dean about an hour or two before the show starts so if you missed out there might still be a chance One of Barcelona's biggest music festivals, Primavera, have announced their line-up, and this might be proof that Australia's Nina Geraci is about to be the biggest DJ in the world.

Primavera Music Festival is back.

A couple of Aussies are on the bill.

First up, it's Melbourne rock band King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard.

So I just saw the lineup for Primavera Sound's 25th year, and wow, it's packed with incredible artists.

Right? Phoebe Bridger's massive attack.

FKA twigs.

Absolutely.

That's what keeps the spirit of festivals alive, year after year.

So what are you most excited to see at Primavera Sound this year?

Honestly, probably the diversity in performances.
