And then I just was in Philadelphia on WMMR.

Preston and Steve, shout out to my Philadelphia friends.

And they have Tat-Tuesdays where they give listeners tattoos.

Oh, you're kidding.

Uh, it still happens in some places.

There are still, like Preston and Steve, there are s- shows that are fucking great, but you know you're fucked when you go in and the guy asks you why you got into comedy.

you? So Dave has been a guest on the Preston and Steve show.

He's a big supporter of Phil Abundance is how he did it.

And he's a stand-up comedian and a great follow on Instagram.

I just haven't seen it.

Seen him in a while with Preston and Steve, like Preston Steve.

So evidently they had, um, they had said something or announced something when I was on the way in the work, but I didn't have them tuned in.

And I got to work and everyone's like, I'm sorry to hear about, hear about your friend.

They used to joke about, I think it was Jackass 3.

I think it was...

Preston or Rick Hosk or someone said they were going to call it Jackass 3.

We needed the money.

Yeah

... 'cause I know he's in Philly, and Philly's got what, Preston and Steve?

Yeah.

That's right.

Because, you know, you tell yourself when you're growing up, like, oh, I want to be on TV or I wanted to be a radio DJ was my lifelong dream.

Like, from the time I could understand words, I was like, this is what I want to do with my life.

Oh, my God.

So I know you touched on it earlier, so we could actually talk about that a little first of like where you see it going and like really where the brainstorming began for you guys.

Like I know you're Preston and Steve fans.

I don't know if you also listen to like Are You Garbage and... matt and shane's and those kind of podcasts uh i do

listen to matt and shane's um bad friends i listen to a lot um so those are the kind of things you know president steve has been a big driver this kind of way of like a radio format that's kind of why we designed the studio because we shot our first 10 episodes we kind of didn't know what we were doing we were learning on the fly so we were running through everything getting to know what was going on we did a whole live podcast in the brewery when we did our beer release four months in we had no clue what we're doing we made it work and we learned a lot in those first 10 episodes and that was what we kind of cut as our first season Um, and then between from episode 10 to episode 11, we sat down for a couple of weeks and said, Hey, like big picture.

I had a conversation with the life coach about that and had him on.

I think even what you're doing is very cool in the sense of it's got a variety show.

angle yeah of like bringing people on but that is like morning radio and then you i mean it's exactly morning radio and the fact that you're adding music makes sense i mean and there is a nostalgia to it because like when we were in college every morning it was either preston and steve or stern i mean opie and anthony were big at that time too so that has sort of transitioned into the podcast that people can just listen to whenever they want to.

But it's, I think it's mostly our age range that enjoys this stuff, but hopefully younger people kind of understand it as well.
