Then in the second half of the show, we're going to talk to filmmaker Jordan Berger about the world premiere of his documentary film, One Plant, which follows the people reviving hemp and cannabis, and it gets into everything the plant can do from medicine to housing to the environment.

It premieres at the Nashville Film Festival later this month.

Plus, we've got details on a One Plant screening right here in Lancaster, Pennsylvania in October.

I do remember you reaching out to me, I think it was like early February of 2022.

So yeah, that's A little over four years.

But the exciting thing is that the film is now being, there's a world premiere, and that's happening in your home state of Tennessee.

Can you tell me when the world premiere is?

First up, world premieres.

Jonathan, why don't you kick us off? What are some new works you're excited to see?

Emily and I are only going to scratch the surface here.

And there's a wide variety.

And so Emily and I are just going to kick off the discussion.

So Emily and I want to start with world premieres.

And the first one that I'm looking forward to will be at the Goodman Theater, beginning previews in a couple of weeks on September 21st.

We had an interview with the Butler Brothers recently on their film Star Suckers that world premiered at Fright Fest.

I have another world premiere, and that is for another.

This is written and directed by Andy Chen.

And I have an interview with Andy that I'm excited for you to hear.

It was more kind of like, I don't even know how much I should explain for people that haven't seen it.

don't want to give too much away, since this is just getting ready to have its world premiere.

I guess you don't want to spoil it too much for people, I guess.
