Precious Achiuwa

Like, think about the weird things that happened last year.

Precious Achiuwa.

Ugh.

You know, it doesn't really move the needle all that much.

It would probably mean more time on the court for Precious Achiuwa, more time on the court for Malik Monk, more time on the court maybe for, uh, maybe Alex Karaban would get an, an opportunity that he might not get this season, uh, because of sort of the crowdedness of what's happening at the two, three, four, right? Again, if, if he ends up being Ben Simmons of old, then I guess you can say high reward.

But that is such a far off in the distance thing.

The more conversations I have about Ben Simmons with people around the league, the more I hear, like- You aren't expecting him to be part of the rotation, right? And I'm like, "Okay, well, I think that the Kings might be, at least as the backup point guard," but then again, maybe they're not.

They have a bunch of players at the shooting guard position that can play, including Monk moving over and playing the shooting guard spot, but also, you know, Zach LaVine starting, uh, Nate Clifford, um, Daequan Plowden, Immanuel, uh, Immanuel Sharp.

So they have other options, right? Uh, even at the small forward spot, you're, you're gonna maybe be able to fit Ben Simmons in there for some minutes, but that means probably no minutes for Alex Caravan.

It also means fewer minutes for Precious Achiuwa because Keegan Murray would have to play more at the four than at the three.

So again, these are all kinds of things that Doug Christie and Scott Perry are gonna have to work out.

They called timeout.

The Knicks have already used their second challenge in the second half, a very weird challenge where it's like, "No, we can't let Precious Achiuwa get a foul." Um, and so the Knicks can't challenge.

Thibs spends the entire timeout yelling at the nearest official.

Now, they, they also said goodbye to DeMar DeRozan and Russell Westbrook, but they also brought in Darius Acuff and, you know, they, they've got a year of experience on the belt of Nick Clifford and Max Rainot and Dillon Cardwell.

Uh, they brought back, you know, Precious Achiuwa, who didn't have a training camp with the team last year, didn't sign until November.

Like, they do have some players here.

Again, De'Andre Hunter is gonna play, that we've never even seen really what a f- a front line of Domantas Sabonis, Keegan Murray, and De'Andre Hunter even look like.
