But before going into that, what leads into that? Pre-adolescence, teenagers, teenagers, teenagers.

It is just a feeling that motivates us to go do something, right? Young children explore curiosity with their bodies, touching, climbing, opening.

tasting, testing things, right? Tweens will do it about like, um, like about fairness, about the, the, the ideas about the bigger world and why are things this way about peers and like, like how could that person's acting that way? Right.

All those kinds of things.

Yeah.

That's one point.

I remember the top tailor at Tween.

We all think of, you know, I worked on Target for many years, and their main audience was mom, and it was mom with baby, mom with- Tween mom with teen, and then they had a whole secondary suite of segments, right? Um, now with YouTube access [laughs], um, younger kids are decision-makers.

They are telling their mom where they wanna have their birthday party, and it's ideally bowling or it's laser tag or it's-

So odds are that they have some idea or are consciously or subconsciously aware that your boyfriend is wearing a wedding ring and is not married to you.

Preteen, teen, there's a good chance your kids have discussed this with each other.

Now, I do think adult children, we have a right to run our parents on a need-to-know basis.

Also, parents of children, we can run our children on a need-to-know basis.

Doing social media while it wasn't great mattered.

Preteen mattered.

Youth ministry mattered.

At the time, I could not see how all those things connected, but God could.

But there is so much of it that's unnecessary.

I mean, I have tween kids.

Tween, by the way, not twin.

And they know plastic is bad.

They're really on board with the fact that plastic is bad.

They never like Tatooine and

Tween.
