Power and Water Corporation

After this storm whipped through the town and surrounding areas yesterday, emergency crews in Darwin were last night preparing to head to Alice Springs to help clean up and to restore power.

saying that the crews from Power and Water would be leaving Darwin to assist as soon as possible.

Now, joining me in the studio to give us an update is Belinda Small, the Executive General Manager of Power Services with Power and Water.

Good morning to you, Belinda.

Good morning, Katie, and good morning to your listeners.

Thank you so much for joining us this morning because I would imagine it's been a very busy morning and afternoon yesterday for everybody at Power and Water.

Can you give us a bit of an update on the situation in Alice Springs this morning, particularly around those homes and how many are now with Power?

Yeah, thanks, Katie.
