For those of you who are gonna be using some power tools today, do you guys use Stihl? The brand Stihl?

Mm...

No.

That's it.

Same material, same zipper, half the price because it doesn't say Power Tool on the label.

I don't know why people pay extra for the tool-branded version.

The marketing premium is real.

It emerged because enough manufacturers copied each other's dimensions, but nobody ever sat down and said, this is the spec.

The PowerTool dust port is a different de facto standard from a different set of manufacturers.

They overlap in diameter, but not in taper, depth, or locking mechanism.

And the 1.5 inch European standard is a third thing entirely.

Yeah, because it was early in the morning or the middle of the night.

I actually found a video on my phone of me and the Power Tool crew, which I'll probably put on Instagram at some point, of us, I think it was Thursday morning, of us all just under my awning looking out, being like, fuck me.

Actually, I think we were under Ollie's awning because mine was collapsed.

And just everyone just stood there fully waterproofed up, not wanting to leave because it was raining.

And I feel like there's been a few we've done where no one said anything.

Oh, it's been a bit more muted.

And this one, compared to Trees, it's the same people, all my same friends and Power Tool crew and Shifty and Lizzie, and it's all the same people that are behind the stage when we come off.

And the reaction to the ATG one was way, way more enthusiastic than the Trees one was this year.

Once you're in the system.

But I guess the inverse part of the Apple example is like, In the Power Tool example, your content and everything you know and ever say in a certain way about your company is like a battery.

And you can plug that into this type of site or that type of ad or that type of email or that social post.

It doesn't matter.
