Postville

The second season after moving to Iowa, I had occasion to go to Postville on the stage.

At Decorah, we stopped for dinner and to change horses.

I saw a man in a backyard, all bundled and tied up from head to foot.

It was either Grant designed it and Bob bought it, Or they designed it together and Bob decided to produce it.

But when Bob retired from Postville, we bought that machine and started selling that.

So we have, long story short, I guess, we have presses, power hammers, induction forges, dyes, materials, and every once in a while, a t-shirt or two.

yeah uh t-shirts are one of the banes of my existence i never seem to have the right size in stock and then i end up giving them away more than i end up selling them like oh i bought all these shirts i need to recoup some costs and i'm like here you get a shirt you get a shirt yep

Like we're going to go home now for Tishrei.

Some people ask you, oh, you're in Postville.

How are the cows in Postville? Oh, you're in the middle of the cornfields.

It's a kind of an expression.

So cornfields, we see all over the place.
