Postvention

And this week, our guest is Dr. Carla Stumpf-Patton.

She is the Director of Suicide Postvention at TAPS, which anybody who's been in the Veterans Service Organization space for any amount of time knows TAPS and the amazing work that they do.

And so I'm really, really excited to have her on with us today to talk about the program that she runs and how important it is.

This is anti-suicide month.

Yeah.

Um, and then episode three is called Postvention is Prevention.

And postvention is that part of, you know, we do a lot of suicide prevention work.

Yeah.

And it's important to be able to think about that also.

Postvention is prevention as well.

And acknowledging that we've been affected by this trauma in some capacity.

When there are natural disasters, same thing.
