gig? My friend Jacob Sesney, who went to Idlewild Arts.

And so he was playing with Scott Bradley, who is the CEO and the creator of Postmodern Jukebox.

He was like, dude, you do this in your spare time.

You make songs.

What Postmodern Jukebox is, is basically, let's take new songs, make them sound like they're from the 30s, 40s, 50s.

Jazz them up.

Whatever happened to them? Go listen to the real human version of post, like they take cool songs and they make it retro.

Yeah, that's exactly what they do.

I don't know why, but I've always felt, even though I'm a fan, I feel like over the years seeing you around, and you were so cool with Postmodern Jukebox.

And I don't know, we, we just had fun-

What are the kinds of Sweet Meg gigs we might see on that spectrum?

Well, these days I'm really trying to just do me because I've done so many iterations of myself because I've been hired by different entities, working with Postmodern Jukebox, working with Cirque du Soleil, working for Turtle Bay.

and then just like being a gigging musician in New York where I do a lot of events and stuff.

But now that I'm doing more touring of my own music, my goal is to present every show has the same bits, you know, that every show has a little jazz, has a little country, has a little rich music, has some French music.

So these days you're kind of getting that, but just depends on the size of the band.

But, Back in the day, I mean, I would do, like with Postmodern Jukebox, it's all very stylized, a change of costume every, you know, every song.

Back when I was in New York, I would do like Great Gatsby parties and stuff like that, or swing dance events or, you know, stuff like that.

where you know you had to do strictly 1920 stuff and every once in a while I still do you know I'll do a whole gig of old stompy jazz if I can but it really just depends if I can get musicians from New York or New Orleans because I need them to do that
