I still do, but that doesn't take away the fact that intriguing tales concerning the incident still continue to appear and circulate.

As for that saga of alien bodies allegedly found at the equally alleged crash site and transferred to Porton Down, it surfaced in 1996.

The source was, unfortunately and perhaps inevitably, anonymous.

The story was given to the late UFO researcher and police sergeant Tony Dodd.

As for that source, Dodd gave him the alias of James Prescott.

According to Prescott, he was directly involved in the incident.

The role of Prescott and his team was to drive a number of alien bodies in crates from the mountains and to the aforementioned Porton Down.

As is the case with so many tales of crashed UFOs, the Porton Down story stalled, and the source retreated back into the shadows from where he came.

I mean, for example, the UK government had one of the worst things that they did was in the 50s.

I think you're thinking of the Porton Down test where they were testing chemical nerve agents on servicemen telling them they were getting a vaccine for the common cold and one guy died from it.

Yeah, exactly.

That's pretty bad.

There've been multiple, um, multiple explanations ranging from it's an extra- it's a nuts and bolts extraterrestrial craft, obviously, to it's some sort of psychological experiment being run on people at the, uh, the air base, uh, there in, in December of 1980.

Uh, it's not too far, I think, from, uh, Porton Down, which is one of the big, um, chemical, biological weirdness, secret weapons sorts of setups, uh, in the UK.

And so there's been some speculation that people at Porton Down might have been responsible for something strange happening.

Um, but it's, it's definitely not Roswell in the sense that it's so relatively recent and full of life.

Sadly, he wouldn't hold onto that distinction for very long.

Over in Britain, the British Weapons Research Unit at Porton Down had begun exposing volunteers to Sarin as early as summer of 1945.

None of the enlisted men taking part in the trials were told that this was happening.

They thought they were helping find a cure for the common cold.

The same year the US nearly lost a man to Sarin poisoning, the UK also messed up, giving test subject John Kelly so much nerve agent that he slipped into a coma.

But the biggest scare came in 1953.

That year, Ronald Maddison volunteered for Porton Down's trial so that he could make some extra money to buy his girl an engagement ring.

On May the 6th, 200 milligrams of Sarin were dripped onto his uniform.

Of course, this paper has been approved by the Wuhan Institute of Virology, which, as we've seen, is not open to international visitation, shall we say, let alone international scrutiny.

Again, Not just the Chinese situation, this would be the same in Porton Down, it would be the same in the American facilities where potential military threats are addressed.

But some might say that the Wuhan Institute of Virology has been leaky in the past.

We have no definitive proof of that, but that has been suggested.

So it was the deadly nerve agent.

Bear in mind, Porton Down is literally right there.

It's it with a cricket ball, if you warmed up your shoulder properly.

Not come from there.

It is also noted that Dugway Proving Ground in Utah is reported to have a storage house for testing biological weapons.

Other countries have them as well, which may have a part in some of these alien programs, but in the UK you have Porton Down, and the former Soviet Union has a facility in Biopreparet.

That's probably close.
