Good morning, David.

Just first of all, I just want to say this is an issue I raised at the meeting of our local community safety partnership last week in Portlaoise.

And just first of all, I just want to pay tribute to our chairperson, Liam O'Neill, who sadly passed away last month.

And just condolences to all the O'Neill family.

Like during COVID I started a thing called Restart Republic where I was kind of reacting to what was happening, um, with people like Luke O'Neill and, and, uh, you know, uh, taking over our, taking over our lives, telling us what to think and where and, and, and where to be and who to see and all that.

So it's kind of evolved from that, really.

But, yeah, I'm doing a lot of different types of venues as well in the initial part of the tour, which has been brilliant because I'm doing, like, theatres, like the Watergate I did last week in Kilkenny, and then I'm doing, you know, the Cabinets, as you say, in Portlaoise.

on friday so i'm doing a good mix of of uh types of shows as a result of the kind of the variety of venues so uh it's been brilliant so far i really enjoyed it and and it looks like the audience are enjoying it as well certainly nobody's thrown any tomatoes at me or rotten tomatoes at me so far

It took time for them to let, let me in, let me tell you.

You know? My brothers like, "We're not leaving till he, till he gets in here." And it was a bit of a battle, to be honest, you know, uh, to get in there.

Like, it's, it's, it's a special place, and I'll f- forever be grateful to, to Coombe Hill.

Um, and with a few strings, I, I got in.

So went straight from there, from Portlaoise to Coombe Hill, and it was soul-destroying going in there, in detox, they call it.

You know, with jammies.

I was at, we had a story early in the week about a million euro house and we had a good story on today.

I met the Brophy family from Portlaoise yesterday and had the story on site today about their memories of being caught up in the chaos of 9-11, which was exactly 25 years ago today.

And there is some incredible stories and features and documentaries out there at the moment, you know, this week to mark that acknowledgement.

And, um, There's big ceremonies in New York and that.

You know, like all these dark moments lend to humour and that.

But yeah, the million euro house, going back on that.

So there was a house just between Portlaoise and the Heath sold for 1.045 million, which I believe is only the second property in Leash to ever break the million euro mark.

Mark, which is a significant, fantastic location just outside Portlaoise, close to the motorway, etc.
